If you're already forking over $99 for the summer fun pass, apply that toward an annual pass (the deluxe one)! It's so worth it...having the convenience to go as you please and take things slow makes the experience SO much better...I've had an annual pass for about two months now and it feels much more relaxing and fun to go casually. I've gone dozens of times and the magic still isn't lost, plus you get to know everything you'd ever want to know and more about Dland and DCA and you learn how to work the system, so an annual pass is the way to go!

I've never been to Disneyland, but I have been to Disney World, and they had a pretty fantastic night-time parade where every float was light up and there were fireworks and everything! It was definitely magical.
