In between
So I won’t have permanent internet until next Monday, the soonest. Until then, I am mooching off of my old apartment’s internet and school’s internet. Thank goodness for good facilities at school. The Starbucks on campus is the best thing ever. I’m currently on the fluffiest couch ever with a green tea frap with extra whip cream and nice music playing the background. It’s so chic. I can’t help it but to feel so “grown up”. I know it’s silly but for the first time I have my own apartment, my own car, and now my own couch here in Starbucks (it’s not really mine but I parked my butt here for the next 3 hours so be it!). The only thing missing is my own job.
I mean I don’t hate my job. I really don’t. I enjoy working. Who can argue with a bi-weekly paycheck, right? But I feel like I can do so much more with myself than folding clothes all day. Hell, have you seen my own closet? Nothing is folded! So I’m looking for a job that deals with either children or seniors and caring. I don’t know what I’ll find. I’ll keep you guys posted.

hurray for growing up, haha. the little scene you just described sounds lovely… although are you stealing the wifi from starbucks or some other hot spot near starbucks? because the last time i was there on the internet, my friend and i just wanted to look something up, and she paid $10 (or whatever ridiculous price it was) just to find our answer, heh… even if it was 24hrs for $10, that’s still bizarre. so it’d be nice if starbucks thought about making it free now – either way, good for you.

Haha, what I love about Berkeley is the nice cafes around the area. Although I’m not a huge fan of green tea frapps…espresso beverages are good enough for me!

My starbucks is on campus so the rules and stuff is different. Yeah most starbucks you need to buy a drink or pay for wifi. Since mine is school owned its free cuz it runs on school inet. and its not STEALING, everyone can use it .. so lets call it USING IT. i mean thers all this internet and if i dont use it, school is paying for inet that no one uses! im doing a good deed.
