Weather changing…
Something about the weather. Maybe it’s just me? But I love the way the wind feels and smell on a cold Autumn day. It’s cold and crisp and feelings of bittersweet and love comes lingering back. It’s the perfect weather to spend it with someone outdoors going on an adventure or indoors snuggling up. Am I correct?
I’m in between classes right now and I’m just hanging around campus outdoors. Despite the annoying people around me talking about things that don’t matter ["Dude, there's a huge party tonight and we're all popping these (drugs I assume and I am no druggie)" "No man, we gotta do the ones we got last night first!"], I’m enjoying the day before nightfall. It’s hard to describe it but the sun is about to set and the air is cold and crispy, almost chilling. People are walking around just carrying on with their lives and here I am sitting on this bench to witness it all. A boy falling off his scooter, a girl talking about her class – me enjoying all of is, even the fall of the boy.
I just love this weather. Make me think of leather boots and peacoats. How romantic. Oh I know, COFFEE DATES. I recommend every to go on coffee dates. I am in love with this season’s Starbucks’s speical – Pumpkin Spice. I’m still sad that they never brought back Orange Creme. Anyways, for the coffee date this is how it works:
- Grab someone special (friends count!)
- Find and go to a local coffee shop
- Order something warm and yummy
- Sit down & talk until your heart desires about anything and everything
So simple! It’s a nice memory and activity to do. You can always reflect back on it and feel that warm and fuzzy feeling instead.
Edit: I’m actually having a solo coffee date right now. I got inspired, got up and left those losers talking loudly to find peace (and Japanese? I think students are practing their oral skills and it’s quite impressive because none of these students are Japanese! Whoa!) at the school Starbucks. I am in pure bliss! And excuse the makeup-less face and strange expression; I don’t wear makeup ever and isn’t it weird to take a picture in public of yourself and starbucks? Haha I was being sly. And yes, I got the Pumpkin Spice latte with whip cream. Loves it.
