Thanksgiving!

I’m thankful for my family and I’m thankful for my friends but I feel like there are things in life that people take for granted because of the little value they think it plays in their lives. Not me! I am quite thankful for everyday life things people rarely even notice.

I am thankful for orange juice with pulp.

It’s my daily cup of happiness. I feel like if I don’t drink a cup when I wake up, the day isn’t going to end up right. I don’t drink it for the vitamin C, I drink it for the sake of just drinking it. Little cartons never get me through the week, I need to buy the industrial jug sizes. My fridge always has at least one jug of orange juice with pulp.

I am thankful for nerds/geeks.

I am thankful for nerds and geeks that come up with things like the macbook, cell phones and gps, regardless of the fact that technology hates me and that I am a phone killer. These things have made my life ten times easier even if it means their life was hard growing up. It’s okay because I feel like they come to learn to be more appreciative of people in their lives nowadays. That’s why – I always befriend and date nerds/geeks. They are also so much more adorable and I tell them – you make life easy and I appreciate that. Frat boys, move over – go puke elsewhere.

I am thankful for the support of my loved ones.

I know I already said that I am thankful for my parents, family and friends but really this one deserves another call. I love the support of people around me. I love being able that I want to do something and they tell me “Go For It”. I told my parents at first I wanted to study abroad, they looked at me like I was speaking another language. A couple months later, not only do they support me with my choices they WANT me to go. I love it. I love it when people are all for dreams and reaching them. It’s about waht you want in life and going to get it. I just had a real heart to heart talk with my mother about everything that’s going around my life the past couple weeks – she opened her ears and her heart to listen. I am thankful of my readers on this blog because they support that I blog, and for sometime being, I wanted to be a professional blogger (silly, but parts of me still want it!). People like my mother and my friends help me believe that there are good in all people still despite all the hate going around the word.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love OJ. The burst of Vit-C makes you feel like.. a morning person.

Anyway, what a lovely post. =) I am so thankful for the little things too, that expressing them would make me out to be a sentimental sap. But I really appreciate how it all combines together to be Life, and make it a point to not take things for granted.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!
