This back pain has got to stop!

I’ve been dealing with some horrible back pain for a little more than a month now. Now, I’m not really sure what caused this but I have a couple theories.

  1. Ballet class- We arch our backs back during warm up at the ballet barres for class and I think I went back a little too much. Then we do flat backs at the barre and those really didn’t help either.
  2. Chinese Dance workshop – I learned how to do some tradition Chinese dance flips, throws and catches for a culture show I am interested to be a part of. Boys were picking me up and throwing me over their shoulders and spinning me around. I might have pulled my back. We also stretched before hand and it was some hardcore stuff. I did the splits and then flopped on the ground. …I think I definitely pulled my back and if i didn’t I must be Super Woman.
  3. Age – I’m only 19 and turning 20 in four months so I guess I’m getting OLD. ):
  4. Snowboarding – First time always hurts. Especially when you fall on the part of your back that already hurt to make it worse. There is no time for healing!

That’s about all the theories I have to why my back hurts so bad. It’s a sharp pain every time I sit, stand, and sleep. It’s pretty bad and it’s starting to get into the way of my daily life! I read online and talked to a couple people and it says that I should continue to stretch it out anyways. It’s a sharp pain and it hurts to even do nothing so I can’t imagine how much more it will hurt if I do something!
