Summer To Do List 2010
Summer is just around the corner. Fortunately, this year I will only be in summer school for 5 weeks, instead of 10 weeks – the usual. Before everyone freaks out because I have summer school – it’s okay, I’m used to it. And, since I just quit my job, I’ll have tons of free time to do whatever I like. I plan on seriously spending this summer enjoying life. Day & Night come so quick and I just try to make it through the day the second I wake up just to anticipate the second when I can go back to sleep. The typical life of a full-time student, part-time worker.
The last time I had a real summer might be in 2nd grade. Since then, every summer has been filled with SAT classes, a full-time job or some sort of yearbook camps. It keeps me busy and my brain working which is good but after so long, I really need a break. Especially since I’ve been going through a rough time here in Irvine (I attend UC Irvine) I really need to spend some time rebuilding a good relationship to where I’m located at.
So here it is, my summer to-do list. Click here to view my last year list & updates (which I never go to re-update again after midway).
- Take a group exercising class at the school’s recreation center. Yoga anyone? + Gym 4 times a week. That’s more than half a week. I really need to commit myself. I’m sick of being in the shape that I am. Commitment is the only way I can achieve my goals.

- Read, read, read. (Again & always!) I plan on spending a lot of time at the beach or by the pool just tanning and reading. It’s quite relaxing. I must finish some unfinished novels and read some magazines as well. I do this every year and I always gain so much more from it than I expect.
Shoot for various photographers & small companies. I never dare say that I’m a model. I’m nowhere near that tier but I do like to be in a couple photo shoots now and then and help a friend out with their portfolio and projects. It’s fun and it’s nice to have professional photos taken of yourself so you can look back one day and be like “Wow, I looked like that when I was 19″. This actually will motivate me to get and stay in shape!
- Learn some new recipe and successfully put together that cookbook I always wanted to do. I want to just keep an archive of the various items I have made over the years so I don’t forgot. The whole she-bang with photos, ingredients and instructions.
- Relearn web designing & launch my design portfolio. Something I wanted to do for awhile now. HTML just doesn’t cut it anymore. I learned this strange language 7 years ago, it’s time for a review and also time to take it to the next level.
