When did Talking Mango start?
Talking Mango started in November 2006 over at WordPress.com. After the hacking incident at ImageShack, where all the photos used to be hosted on, I decided it was time to get serious and get a domain and hosting. In July 2009, Talking Mango was officially its own domain.
Why the name Talking Mango? Mango don’t talk!
I wanted a clever, witty name but at the same time I wouldn’t feel stupid about it 10 years down the line. I know I wanted something that represented me. Mango is my nickname (view story over at About Me) and I love to talk and never shut up. Hence, Talking Mango was perfect.
