If you know anything about me, it’s that I lovelovelove Halloween. This year I didn’t get to celebrate it too much since I was caught up in other things but I did manage to go down to Los Angeles with a couple of my girl friends for some drinks and dancing. Geisha House in LA is just fabulous. There is a random fireplace placed in the middle of the dance floor but other than that, the venue is nice.

This year I decided to be a peacock. No, it’s not because of the Katy Perry song. I did a wedding just a month ago and it was peacock theme. The florist didn’t want any of the leftover peacock feathers when the wedding was over so I took them all home. I’m sad I didn’t get to use a lot of them but I did get a couple uses out of them. I made a belt and my headband using the feathers. I don’t have an upclose photo of the belt. After a night of clubbing it was completely trashed! It’s okay though since you got the general idea that I was a peacock.

I kept it simple because it’s clubbing afterall. But I really wanted to play with makeup instead so I went all out on my eyes. After all they are the window to your soul, right? I cannot believe how pigmented these drugstore eyeshadow where. The only thing I used that was not drugstore was the primer, my trusty Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original! I’ve never used any kind of blue eye shadow before but I think I will start. Perhaps be a mermaid next year just so I can use it again! The teal color is the dye for, just look.

I actually lost that bracelet I was wearing just last night when I went back home for a day trip adventure. I’m kind of sad but I know where I can buy it again so it’s not too devastating. Also, I got totally sunburned on my shoulder. Just one of them because only one of them was exposed. What a fail. But that’s okay, I had pretty beach waves to cover parts of it. Took me forever to style my hair since I usually do nothing to it. I also dyed it a darker shade. No more being a light brown/dark blondie, so sad! I also spent extra time on my makeup that day. If I was going to have fun, I better look nice doing so, right? Also, will upload a skincare routine blog very soon! People keep asking me how I keep my skin looking so flawless.

We made posters for CAMA (Chinese Association Martial Arts) to show them our love. The front view with their names and the back as jokes. For fun, My friend appointed me president of the CAMA Fan Club later on that night.

No shame. You see the man in the middle of the stage at the beginning? Yeah, that’s him. This man is talented. I’m so proud to have such talented friends that has such a passion for the things they do in life.

But really, check out that video. I’m going to end this post with a picture of what I do best at: being a princess. Do not judge, it was super hot and after a long day of screaming and walking around I was super tired. The crown? Well, obviously that’s just the nature of me (but really, I stole it from a friend who got it from who knows where).

Anyways, I woke up to get ready for a day of fun and food and was feeling like I should take more risk with my outfits so I added a hat and wore wedges out. I’m not big risk taker, but baby steps it is! I am not a big fan of fedoras…and I used to hate it. But after wearing one all day, I can say I DO like them .They are super cute. I borrowed this one from a friend for a project. It’s so cute I want to keep it! Anyways DO take risk, it’s more fun! I’m posting big photos today because I ended up really liking my outfit + makeup. Enjoy.

I love how the brim of the hat really enhances the color of my hair. Not a blondie yet but I really do wish one day I would have blonde hair. And yay for finally getting my brows done. & I finally noticed how clear my skin was in this photo. People always tell me that but I’ve never noticed it until now. No photoshop, I swear!

Since I got my Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette I’ve been using it almost every day. Here’s a chart I’ve made so it makes sense to what color I used. This chart makes the colors sooo off. It just doesn’t capture the glitter in some of them as well as the colors.

I rarely wear my glasses because I feel so dorky in them. I do when I drive and when I’m in class. I just felt like wearing them for the day being. Here’s a look. Aren’t you special? And yes, I understand I have very tiny feet. Size 6 for a 5’6″ girl ftw! Anyways, here’s the outfit:

I lovelovelove my leather jacket. The button details makes it fun but it kind of reminded me of the Mike & Chris one. I thrifted it for only $15, retail for $100 at Aryn K. Took me forever to find a leather jacket with a hoodie. This is my baby! The top is from Urban Outfitters as well. It was on sale for like $4 when it was retailed for $24.something. Gosh, I love a good deal. Everyone says it looks like a nighty though.

Look at my new shoes! Prettiest simple black flats ever (& they hurt like a bitch). They were on sale too at Urban Outfitters. Ignore the ugly jeans. I ended up pairing it up with black jeans.

Here’s my face. I took it from a day to night look by amping up the eyeliner and lipstick. The day I had a coral lipstick with brown eyeliner and when it was night I put on my red lipstick with black eyeliner. Ignore my unruly eyebrows…I need to get them down. And did you notice my missing eyelashes on my left eye? I was taking off false lashes and accidentally ripped off a bunch of my real ones too from a couple weeks back. OUCH! They are slowly growing back on me…
