I apologize for the lack of post lately! I am in the process of moving out of my Newport Beach apartment to back home with my parents …to back to Irvine for the rest of summer/school year into my new apartment with some friends. I know it’s a lot of packing, moving and unpacking so I’ve just been so caught up! Do not worry, I did take a little time off this morning and did some online shopping. I hauled in an amazing pair of Dolce Vita on an amazing sale price of only $29.99 when they are retailed for $129.99. I know, I know. I am kind of amazing. When they come I will surely make a post! No photos of the shoes for now, I want to keep you all waiting!

Oh and another note, I dyed my hair part blonde. …Well, I bleached it part blonde. I have always thought that blondes have more fun (and it’s totally true). I’ve been blonde before and I had a blast going out almost every night and being adventurous and spontaneous. I dyed it back to brown because the roots were being hideous and I just ended up being a granny and stayed home all the time. But it is summer and this blondie is back in action! The girl on the left is my little sister from the sorority. She also went blonde but ombre style.

It’s not blonde blonde. I left bleach in there for an hour and even heated it and it only got to this. But considering how damaging it is, maybe I’ll wait awhile before I bleach it again to get it even more blonde. Part of me wants to go full blonde. There is no better time than to do it during the summer of your college years, right?

The weather in Southern California is bipolar! It was raining two weeks ago and now it’s so hot everyone dug up their summer favorites. As much as I like Summer, I miss my Autumn! The next thing I know it will be winter. I guess that’s the beauty of California.

I’m trying to update more but let me tell you why I have been absent for the last two months. I went to Hong Kong for 2 weeks before college started again and had no internet connection where I was staying. Apparently WiFi is not big in the rural areas. Just kidding, of course I knew that. Also, when I got back from my trip school started. I went through recruitment in the process of joining a sorority. I am very happy that I went through recruitment even with a lot of hesitant on my mind. Honestly speaking, one of the best choice I’ve made in college. I love being busy and always meeting new people. It’s more than just partying – trust me.

On top of school starting, new apartment, sorority recruitment, I fell out of love. I know this is silly for those in relationships but I am not a long-term relationship kind of girl and when my 10 month relationship ended, I was broken into pieces. I really do believe my sorority and sisters have help me glue the pieces back together and made me stronger. At the time I knew that it wasn’t going to kill me but I really wish it did. The separation anxiety was unbearable. I do not wish to speak too much on this topic but let’s just say there are my reasons for not blogging for the past two months. I had a lot on my hands and my mind. But I am back. Maybe even a new layout soon.

Finally, I finished coding my new layout and put it up. Pretty clean and neat, don’t you think? I really like how clean it is but the header is funky in it’s own good way. I love it. And I hope you get why there is a little mouth toy there. …Talking Mango. Get it? This is what happens when you start designing way pass midnight – weird things happen. I’ll most likely make some tweaks throughout the week or so but for now, it’s the finished product. I plan on expanding this website much more in the future. Drop a comment if anyone is interested in exchanging links or blog swapping.

On a more personal level, week 1 of my second year in college has started. I’m not sure if I’m made for this. It’s so daunting and intimidating but I’m taking baby steps to try to make it through. I’m looking into a marketing career beside a teaching career. If I were a parent, I wouldn’t want my kid to be taught by someone like me, only because I know who I am. There’s still a lot I have to think about. I feel like its hard to get somewhere in life when you don’t know where you want to go. Step 1: find where to end up.

This is a good improvement for me already since before this, I had no idea I wanted to do. I guess baby steps are working after all. What do you want to be when you grow up? And if you’re already grown up, what did you wanted to be – and did it happen?

Something about the wee hours of the night gets my creative juices really flowing. Maybe it’s the new Imogen Heap or the Black Eyed Peas that I’m listening to that really got me inspired, I’m not sure. Whatever it is – I’m really excited for the new layout. The new layout is not up yet since there’s a bunch of coding I still have to do. I have to admit it, my previous two layouts were based were entirely coded by me. (All the graphics were however made by me.) I’m taking on a challenge with the new layout and coding it myself – all of it. It’s going to be intense but I’m up for the challenge.

I feel like this layout right now is too busy and I hate three columns. I just wanted to try something new but I guess can never get used to it. The new layout is fresh. How does it look it? I just can’t say anything right now. It should be up by the end of next week the latest.

And for a little humor at 4 am, I was looking at my spam comments and you’ll be surprised what computers/trolls comment with when they spam blogs:

These two comments were in response to my Moving Part 3, Day 1 post. I’m sure bread can help my mild case of influenza after moving in to my new apartment. Cheers!
